Day 1 Chiang Mai (Arrival Day) (-, -, D)
A warm welcome in Chiang Mai and then escorted to the hotel. In the evening, your dinner will be served in a northern cuisine of “Khan Toke Style” with cultural performances.
Day 2 Chiang Mai (B, L, -)
Discover the true identity of Chiang Mai at Chiang Mai City Art & Cultural Centre, to understand its history customs, ways of life, arts & culture and spend the wonderful trip to visit Doi Suthep Temple, a magnificent temple on the hilltop and overview of Chiang Mai City can be seen from the terrace. Spend your afternoon at the handicraft village along Sankampang Road, where you can watch craftsmen producing their colorful creation. This marketplace offers the walking tour of Home Industries Village, boasting a plethora of intricate fabric, wood carving, umbrella making, silver ware, lacquer ware and other gems of Thai handicraft.
Day 3 Chiang Mai – Mae Hong Son (B, L, D)
Fly to the exotic city which covering with mist by Thai Airways. Upon arrival continue the trip through the valley and mountains of Northern Thailand. Enjoy a boat trip to Baan Nam Pieng Din to visit Long Neck Karen Hill Tribe Village (lunch en-routed). Visit “Doi Kong Mu Temple”, one of the most important temples in the city on the steep hill to the west, which in the viharn contains a highly venerated white marble Buddha image.
Day 4 Mae Hong Son (B, L, -)
Start your beautiful day to visit Nam Lodge Caves. Explore the caves by following the local guide with their lantern and spend your journey on the bamboo raft into the end of the caves. With your imagination, plenty of nice stalagmites-stalactites in the caves can be any shape of animals or things. One of the important cave is Coffin Cave which you will find the before time coffins, the longest one is 5 meters high.
Day 5 Mae Hong Son – Chiang Mai (B, L, -)
Early morning, visit the local market to see the local people life style including the hill tribe people that usually come to sell and buy things. Visit the twin Burmese style temple “Jong Kham & Jong Klang” which is reflected in most of the classic picture-postcard. Leaving to Chiang Mai by Thai Airways’ flight and upon arrival escorted to the hotel.
Day 6 Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai (B, L, D)
Drive to Chiang Rai and the highlighted of the day is the trip to elephant camp at Chiang Dao Elephant Camp. Before activities start, you will be able to see elephant daily bathing in the river. Then, the demonstration of how to use the elephant in the logging trade in the past and the elephant’s intelligent will start (1 hour). After that, you will be able to experience on the elephant ride through the jungle and in to the river. After that, travel to Tha-Ton Village by take a boat journey along Mae Kok River to Chiang Rai Province through the rich diversity of tropical northern landscape and a must visit is Karen village on the way. Overnight in the heart of Chiang Rai City.
Day 7 Chiang Rai (B, -, -)
A trip to Chiang Rai will not be completed without a trip to Thailand northern most frontiers and the border between Thailand - Myanmar in Mae Sai District and the legendary Golden Triangle, the junction of Myanmar (Burma), Thailand and Laos.
Day 8 Chiang Rai (Departure Day) (B, -, -)
Relax at your leisure and transfer to the airport for your return trip home or drive back to Chiang Mai.
